The University of Alberta Press will provide complimentary review copies of books to members of media organizations or book review editors and freelance reviewers. Requests for review copies must include the following information: contact person, title, organization or publication name and title of the book being requested.

desk copies for scholars
The University of Alberta Press will provide complimentary examination copies of textbooks to full-time faculty members who plan to consider them for course adoption.
Requests for examination copies must provide the following information: department name, institution, course name and number, course date, course description, anticipated enrollment and the title of the book currently in use.
The University of Alberta Press charges a $6.00 shipping and handling fee for each examination copy requested. Please include this fee with your request.
